Implementing new technology
Recently we worked with a large UK Utilities Infrastructure company to implement a new workflow scheduler system. Building the underlying AWS infrastructure using services such as EC2, IAM, S3, CodeCommit. CloudZone were also responsible for installing and configuring the Apache Airflow application.
Migrating existing technologies to the Cloud
CloudZone have a wealth of experience in migrating systems from data centres to AWS. We start off identifying customers requirements, producing architectural design documentation and project plans. Once approved, we have skilled AWS engineers and technology specialists who can build the underlying infrastructure. Migrating existing data and configuring the applications.
Defining new solution architectures
CloudZone consultants have a wealth of hands on experience in defining new architectures. In addition, they hold industry standard qualifications such as TOGAF and AWS certifications. Using these skills CloudZone work with suppliers and incumbent IT teams to identify solutions that will best fit the customers needs.
Saving customers money
Many companies who migrate to the cloud often find that their AWS costs are larger than they had originally budgeted. We work with customers to identify where savings can be made. Using tools such as cost explorer to drill down on expenditure we identify technology that is being paid for, but not being used effectively.
Implementing SAAS solutions
We can work with customers to implement SAAS solutions. A recent project involved working with a customer who had run into difficulties with their migration from an on premise Financial system to Oracle Fusion. We worked with that customer to propose alternative approaches that Helped them to get their migration got back on track.
Service Operations
Cloud infrastructure as with any IT system needs ongoing maintenance. Be it security patches, application upgrades, change releases for new functionality or ongoing operational activities. CloudZone work with customers to establish best practices, working to ITIL v4 service operation standards and practices.
